Thanks for visiting! :) My name is Taylor Smith and I am a Miss America Organization titleholder. I was crowned the 2010 Miss Elk Citythis year and have the honor of representing the area of Elk City in June at the Miss Oklahoma Pageant. Being in pageants is alot of work but it's much more than glitz in glamour, behind all the beauty, is all the smarts and the good hearts that every girl in this system uses to make our state and our nation a better place to live. We each have a wonderful opportunity to build a platform (something that we are passionate about and can relate to) , and we each share it to our own communities and to other communities in our state. My platform is "Stranger Danger" and this year I have all sorts of new things to keep people involved in making the state of Oklahoma a safer environment to live in by keeping children prepared and aware. I cannot wait to see how well communities come together to make our children feel safe and ultimately avoid being the victim of a violent crime.
